Part of the mission of the Miss Exceptional Pageant is to provide a platform to bridge gap that exists among members of the community. The Miss Exceptional Pageant is a tool to assist the contestant in gaining friendships, mentors, and new skills through the events and appearances offered.
Age Division Christmas QUEENS Division The overall winners will be determined by the judges in onstage presence in personality and confidence. ONE OVERALL WINNER in each age division will receive: Official Miss Exceptional Christmas crown & banner.
All participants will be invited to attend appearances and events along with the Miss Exceptional Queens Court.
Exceptional Christmas Gentlemen Division: Overall Exceptional Gentlement division winner will be determined by the judges in onstage presence and personality and confidence. One OVERALL WINNER will receive: Official Miss Exceptional Christmas Regalia including sash. All Participants will be invited to attend appearances and events along with the Miss Exceptional Queens Court.
Holiday PJ Wear: Each contestant will complete their presentation on stage in their Holiday Pajamas. Contestants will be offered a microphone at the first STAR. Immediately following their personal introduction the contestant shall model their holiday pajama wear using the remaining 3 Stars on the stage as a guide. The contestant is allowed to model with a parent or one of our pageant buddies. The judges will not deduct points for having an escort or being nonverbal. The contestant will have approximately 60 seconds to complete their modeling presentation.
Onstage Christmas Interview with Miss Sami:
Verbal Contestants: During this event, verbal contestants will be greeted by Miss Sami at the final Star and asked one Holiday themed question.
Low or Non-verbal contestants: Contestants will be offered a question to answer at registration. Miss Sami will read the question and answer while the low or nonverbal contestant is modeling.
Winners in each division and ANGEL will be crowned on stage at the end of the show. All participants will receive a custom Miss Exceptional Medallion.
OPTIONAL ANGEL COMPETITION Are you an ANGEL? Would you like a second chance at being Miss Exceptional Royalty? There is one ANGEL title at the Miss Exceptional Christmas Pageant! The Miss Exceptional Christmas Angel title will be awarded to the contestant who has the most donations of toys or money collected or combination of both. The winning contestant receives the title of Miss Exceptional Christmas Angel. Only Contestants are eligible for this honor. Using the Christmas Donation link, contestants can raise money by asking family, friends, coworkers, and businesses to support the efforts of EFN and Miss Exceptional to provide Christmas for local Special Needs families.
A minimum of $100 or 4 new toys are required to qualify for the Angel title competition. The Miss Exceptional Christmas will receive a round crown, special banner, Miss Exceptional Royalty photo shoot, and will be invited back to Miss Exceptional Christmas 2019 to crown her successor. ALL CONTESTANTS who raise a minimum of $50 (or 2 new toys) will receive a special banner and will be recognized on stage during our special presentation. Donations will be accepted at the registration desk. People can vote online, by mailing a check to EFN 5402 Solberg Dr SW Lakewood WA 98499 (received by 12/7), or by giving you the money which you can turn in at registration.
Voting will close at 12pm on Sunday December 8th.
*Note: Entry fees to Miss Exceptional Christmas are not considered Angel competition donations. Entry will not count towards the Angel title nor will they be considered towards meeting the $50 minimum to qualify for the Angel title. Angel competition donations are collected in addition to and separate from the entry fees.
