The Miss Exceptional Pageant came about from the desire to offer opportunities for exceptional young ladies to improve their self-confidence and social/communication skills. Often times, girls struggle with self-esteem. This is further heightened when they also have a special needs diagnosis. The Miss Exceptional Pageant is a chance for them to be in the spotlight and feel great about themselves for exactly who they are...which is exceptional!

Who We Are
The Miss Exceptional Pageant is a program of the Exceptional Families Network, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Lakewood, Washington. We work with families who have children with special needs. A majority of those exceptional children have some form of autism, but we welcome any diagnosis, disability or difference.
